Amazing detail on 11 piece Antique Dining Set! It has been in the family for three generations (bought in the 1990's by my husband's grandmother for $10,000 as an antique from a family in Wichita). We believe it originated in the 1920's!
The information on the back plate of the sideboard says "Robert Keith, Kansas City, USA". Information under chairs says "Lifetime Furniture, Suite 4190, Stain: Stuart Oak, Hastings, MI." The Robert Keith Furniture and Carpet Company of KC, MO sold Lifetime Furniture from Grand Rapids Bookcase and Chair Co. of Hastings, MI.
Because it was bought from a private family, we do not know if the set was original to each other or bought as separate pieces. All of the engravings are similar in style and stain and just beautiful. The only reason we are selling it is because it does not fit the form or function of our home and would like to sell it to a family who can truly use it and appreciate it!
All pieces are in beautiful condition! Included with the set are two pieces of glass cut to the size of the sideboard and server to protect their tops. The table has always had a tablecloth on it, so there is no damage to its finish either.
Set includes: 6 chairs, 2 arm chairs, table, server and sideboard (and glass for server and sideboard), chair covers original to chairs (still in good condition, but the strings that hold them to chairs need restoration)
Table: 30Hx38Wx60L, 96L with fully extended leaves
Chairs: 17H (seat height)
